[UP1] Personal Reflection Part 1
1. I learned two things from Ms. Burtz's presentation.
First, treasures are things that no one is aware of. I think that spreading the hidden goodness of the city can sometimes lead to its development. My town may have great places I don't notice. There are many treasures in Tokamati. For example, there are beautiful ricegarden view, secret trail, local fresh vegetables. I want to look for these places in my town.
Second, small steps is important to get big chance. There may be many challenges in making a project success. However, you will be get a chance and recognition of other peoples if you don't give up trying. There is great example. I was surprised that Ms. Burtz's got a big chance to be on NHK. she got in touch with local media and local radio. Her efforts reached NHK.
2. I'm going to research more about the hidden charms of the city I will be presenting. These cities may have hidden wonderful treasures such as the culture, food and nature. Ms. Burtz's distributed original local cuisines to trail running participants. In addition, I try researching problems the city have. Like trail running, I would like to think about how I can utilize charm of the city to solve social issues. And I want to communicate with local peoples if I am possible when I do regional revitalization. Like Ms. Burtz's, I will understand about city more.
3. I most impressed that success need a lot of effort. I though the same thing could be said about studying and part-time job and future dreams. Becaus, Making an effort to study and work will lead to improving score and skill. I though that I want to make an effort to realization of my goal like the hard work that Ms. Burtz put into holding the trail running.
I was surprised to hear Ms. Burtz was interviewed in NHK. I learned small steps is important, so we should start doing small things. Also, I think so that communicating with local people is important.
返信削除I thought it was wonderful that the good things about the area were described as treasures. I also believe that small steps are necessary and will lead to my future. I would like to believe so too.
