A large-scale wildfire has broken out in Canada, forcing tens of thousands of people to evacuate. More than 180 fires have broken out across the country, half of which are out of control, and the alert level has been raised to the highest level 5. It is said to be comparable to the worst wildfire in 2023, and smoke has reached the United States. Canada is currently facing a serious wildfire crisis, with tens of thousands of people being forced to evacuate.
This is not the first time that a large-scale wildfire has occurred in Canada.Wildfires in Canada occur at this time of year every year, and according to Reuters, in 2023, due to extreme heat and other factors, the burned area exceeded 130,000 km2, the worst on record. This is the equivalent of about 2.78 million Tokyo Domes.
It is said that the current wildfire is comparable to that. There is a risk that the damage will spread further in the future, and authorities are also requesting international assistance.
I'm worried about Canada because there are very serious fires. However, the fact that they are happening at the same time means that measures and evacuation drills can be taken in advance. I pray for the safety of the people there.

返信削除Don’t we see news about large-scale wildfires every year now? I’m really curious how serious the situation actually is and how bad it might get. I feel like what matters most is nature’s resilience. If the recovery is fast enough to keep up with the damage, maybe it’s not as alarming.
返信削除I knew this issue for the first time. I hope you can find the cause of the problem and resolve it soon.
